Question Snares

I go to Ben Lomond High School, Home of the Scots and I play guitar in both the Concert and Jazz Bands. I want to join the Pipe Crew too, though I don't want to play pipes. I want to be on the snares. I want to know if anybody has any tips or tricks used in playing snares that might be a little difficult. I know I can probably pick it up with ease, but practice wouldn't hurt. Thanks.

Snare is all about learning and practicing the rudiments.

They can be found here.
