Toronto guitar lessons flamenco & Jazz (16) Paco De Lucias minor mel scale fingerings

This is a complementary lesson about the 4 fingerings that Paco De Lucia use for the minor melodic scale (on positional playing)

1 Fm
2 Bbm
3 Ebm
4 G#m

( are named like that because that’s the key on first fret )

John Mc Laughlin in his instructional DVD “This is the way I do” says that the minor melodic scale is the most important scale for Jazz & contemporary music, and De Lucia innovated including its use in the flamenco music in a genial way, so I think you will enrich your “contour” vocabulary with it!
