Mr Sandman - Fingerpicking

Hi forumites. I'm posting this again now I'm a "full member". I'd appreciate your comments. I know most of you play guitar and can spot the shortcomings better than anyone else.

Well, here's my rendition of "Mr Sandman", fingerpicking style, a Chet Atkins' favourite.

Mr Sandman

I played a Gretsch Nashville and a Fender Deluxe Reverb.

Take care.

Much the way Mr. Guitar would have done it.
He might even have designated you as a Certified Guitar Picker!

You did a knockout job on that tune.

I think you should move the tremolo bar closer to your RH. Your RH is stable and will not hit it. Whenever you reach for it in the middle of a phrase, there is clear noticeable break in the music. Right now, it's about 4 inches away. Move it closer. You master the bar in the middle of phrases and you will be that much closer to Chet.
