Good to know. I've been trying to hear a sound clip of someone using an interface/pre-amp just to get an idea of the sound quality we're talking, because right now, I don't have one, and the music seriously suffers.

That's a pretty good "Death Metal" voice for using no effects.

The most important thing is seriously just mixing things correctly. Mixing is like learning a whole new instrument. I reccomend reading on sneap forum if you want nearly commerical/commerical productions.

I'm sure it certainly isn't easy. My cousin wound up in college, majoring in Sound and Production, or something like that. I can't remember the show, but he did the editing on it. I'll have to ask my aunt the next time I see her.
