1980 US-made BC Rich Son of a Rich (bolt-on) series. It was BCR's attempt at a bolt-on/lower cost version of the neck-through Bich models. I did a little 'custom' finish on it.

It is actually a great playing guitar and my wife won't let me get rid of it (including the pics of me playing it in multi-colored spandex back in the day).

LOL! My Mockingbird is like a fuchsia-pink, kinda like what C.C. Deville would've been caught playing. I'd love to trade it for a nicer model of a nicer guitar, but that thing has a ton of sentimental value. I've owned that guitar since I was 14-15 years old.

Nice Mock! Always wanted a neck-thru Koa custom shop one. Just not too crazy about the weight distribution/tendency to dive.

Well, it was my first "real" guitar, and yes, it has a horrible tendency to dive at the front; it's very nose-heavy. Of course, when I was 15 years old, I didn't know about these things; all I wanted was a "good brand" guitar and something that looked "Metal." Come November 1995, I was a little wiser, and knew what to look for in a good guitar, and that's when I got my American Tele Plus.

I hear ya...mine is too sentimental to part with also. I have contemplated ordering a custom shop Mock with the strap button mounted at the top most part of the horn (and strap locks). I've heard that with that mod and a wide leather strap, the dive isn't that bad. I still love the shape.
