Moderately heavy?

It's a great tune Stig. Aside from the VOX (Not my cup o' tea) it sounded wicked!

You've got a great tone out of the POD. Which version of the POD did you use?

Pod farm platinum. I haven't bought it yet, I'm just using the trial.

I thought the tone was excellent. Like Keith I don't really dig the VOX, but that's just my personal preference coming out. I prefer a James Labrie type of vocalist for this kind of music myself.

I don't know if it was the mix or what, but the bass drum and the bass guitar became overpowering through my speakers at certain points and punched almost everything else out. Could be my audio settings, not sure.

Anyway, I really...really dig what you are doing there. Very heavy, dark.

Well done.

Oh god I loathe James Labrie.

And yeah the mix was sort of unbalanced. I blame it on ear fatigue.

yea this is moderately heavy i like your tone... is the low string an A?? or a G cuz that notes retarded low you could do some intense hardcore just pedaling on that thing... I like the vox really low and gutteral i think there should be more a range from lows/mids-highs but thats just me i like my metal/hardcore vox moving around the vocal pallette... keep shredding bro...

I think you should record an album.

I'm trying my best to record one, too. Check out my latest in "Showcase." While I don't have all the proper/necessary equipment (yet), I'm sure I will get it for Xmas. Right now, I'm just trying to cobble some things together and get some opinions.

I have to say that I'm pretty proud of my song, "Insinerator." Even though it's incomplete (the guitar work), I've gotten a lot of positive comments from people that have heard it.

I don't wanna hijack, but fill me in on this new Pod thing you're using. Did you use it to record your "Death Metal voice," too?

I use pod farm which is the vst version of the pod. I did use it on the vox but only for delay and compression.

How'd you get the "Death Metal" voice? Did you just growl?

I'm getting a Line 6 UX2. Hopefully, I can do the same things with that...

Yeah, there are no effects on my voice. At least not ones I wouldn't use when singing clean.

And according to teh googles, the Line 6 UX2 comes with pod farm, which is what I used for the guitars. But I used Pod Farm premium, and the amp model I used ( big bottom ) is not on the regular version.
