Just scored a weekly gig with the acoustic duo.
So this new bar in the area is looking to promote it's Monday night football business. So they hired us to do every Monday night thru the rest of football season. I'm pretty siked about it, not only is this a 2nd night for prax, payed. But, it gives us great exposure and they have great specials so it will be quite easy to pull a crowd. We play a hour before kickoff and then the 20 min at half time. So the new duo, called "Shake it Twice" is now a profitable entity.

Sounds like a good gig. I generally find that an every week gig is a bit of overkill, but seeing as they're there more for the football, it should be just dandy. Congrats!
Make sure you learn that "are you ready for some football" song. Do they have buffalo wings?

gig went well last night and they would in fact like us back next week. so every monday it is thru football season. waiting on the pix so when I get them I'll post 'em.
